I am so excited!
I just found out that Vignette Press is bringing back the Mook for: Geek Mook and they are calling for submissions. I am going to write one, because I can and want to try to be published.
Anyway, I found these Mook books back in 2008 and brought the two books that were already published. The Sex Mook and The Death Mook.
THE SEX MOOK: Bringing together the voices of over 60 young people, this collection presents an unusual take on the topic of sex… here’s no airbrushing, no censorship and no one telling you what’s right or wrong. It’s real sex, in all its leaky, funny, noisy, confusing glory. This collection is rough and more than a little messy. But then, so is sex. Enjoy.
THE DEATH MOOK: Herein you will find death in all of its guises: spectral, abject, messy, mysterious, fascinating, sexy, seductive. Undertakers, corpses, plastinated body parts, the grieving and the ghostly aggrieved, the necrophiliac and the anxiously necrophobic, the haunted and the haunter, refugees of humanity, citizens of the afterlife, corpse brides, death-eaters, death entrepreneurs, fatal tourists, the savage, and the embarrassingly accident prone. Curious?
